{"id":3307,"date":"2020-06-30T11:15:29","date_gmt":"2020-06-30T14:15:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mundodeaventura.com.br\/blog\/?p=3307"},"modified":"2021-08-23T17:20:49","modified_gmt":"2021-08-23T20:20:49","slug":"conceicao-dos-ouros-terra-do-polvilho","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mundodeaventura.com.br\/blog\/conceicao-dos-ouros-terra-do-polvilho\/","title":{"rendered":"Concei\u00e7\u00e3o dos Ouros &#8211; Terra do Polvilho"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Concei\u00e7\u00e3o do Ouros, cidade no extremo sul de Minas Gerais, localiza-se a 22.41\u00b0 na latitude Sul e 45.79\u00b0 de longitude Oeste da Serra da Mantiqueira.<\/p>\n<p>O munic\u00edpio \u00e9 banhado pelos rios Sapuca\u00ed-Mirim, Capivari, e pelo Ribeir\u00e3o do Ouros, que lhe d\u00e1 o nome.<\/p>\n<p>Seu Clima \u00e9 tropical de altitude com a temperatura m\u00e9dia de 18 graus Celsius, e vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o natural constitu\u00edda por trechos remanescentes da mata Tropical de Encosta, ou Mata Atl\u00e2ntica, destacando-se a Mata da Bexiga, na fazenda Chapada. Sua popula\u00e7\u00e3o de 10.388 habitantes (censo 2010) concentra-se na \u00e1rea urbana. Durante os s\u00e9culos XVII e XVIII as in\u00fameras entradas e bandeiras vindas de\u00a0S\u00e3o Paulo\u00a0em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Regi\u00e3o das Minas, encontrou num curso de \u00e1gua que, posteriormente, seria chamado de Ribeir\u00e3o dos Ouros, uma quantidade relevante de ouro de aluvi\u00e3o (\u00e0s margens desse mesmo Ribeir\u00e3o seria fundado o povoado de Nossa Senhora da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o das Cachoeiras dos Ouros em 1854).<\/p>\n<p>Devido \u00e0 essa descoberta, foram feitas escava\u00e7\u00f5es nas regi\u00f5es dos Bairros rurais ourenses como: Fazendinha, Tr\u00eas Cruzes e Ouros Velhos. Tamb\u00e9m foram feitas perfura\u00e7\u00f5es na regi\u00e3o da Cachoeira dos Pil\u00f5es. Por\u00e9m, a primeira popula\u00e7\u00e3o oficial de Concei\u00e7\u00e3o dos Ouros foi registrada somente no ano de 1824, quando Major\u00a0F\u00e9lix da Mota Pais\u00a0se fixou junto com a fam\u00edlia, escravos e amigos, na regi\u00e3o do Orat\u00f3rio das Dores.<\/p>\n<p>Com dificuldade do atendimento religioso, pois a par\u00f3quia mais perto era a de Pouso Alegre, que fica a mais de 40 quil\u00f4metros do local, o major e seu vizinho, In\u00e1cio da Costa Resende, firmaram um acordo onde construiriam uma capela na divisa de suas propriedades. A hist\u00f3ria conta que a esposa de In\u00e1cio e a de F\u00e9lix se desentenderam, assim In\u00e1cio da Costa Resende, em 1854, construiu uma capela dedicada a S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o Batista nas proximidades do local do antigo acordo, hoje Cachoeira de Minas. J\u00e1 Major F\u00e9lix construiu, no mesmo ano, uma dedicada \u00e0 Nossa Senhora da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, pr\u00f3xima ao local onde o Ribeir\u00e3o dos Ouros encontra o Rio Sapuca\u00ed-Mirim.<\/p>\n<p>A capela de Ouros logo teve que ser substitu\u00edda por um templo maior, j\u00e1 que o n\u00famero de fi\u00e9is havia crescido abruptamente. Com isso a Arquidiocese de S\u00e3o Paulo cria a Freguesia de Nossa Senhora da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o dos Ouros, em 1865. As terras ourenses pertenceram a\u00a0Pouso Alegre\u00a0e posteriormente a\u00a0Parais\u00f3polis. \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h6>O Polvilho<\/h6>\n<p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o do polvilho \u00e9 uma atividade que remonta \u00e0 \u00e9pocas anteriores ao pr\u00f3prio Descobrimento do Brasil, quando os \u00edndios Tupis-Guaranis, tendo a mandioca como uma das suas principais fontes de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, j\u00e1 exerciam a extra\u00e7\u00e3o do polvilho dessa planta por meio do processo de decanta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Com o passar dos s\u00e9culos na regi\u00e3o de Concei\u00e7\u00e3o dos Ouros, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o, antes manual e feita em pequenas quantidades, foi industrializada e aprimorada com novas tecnologias, permitindo um grande crescimento na sua escala. Assim, a cidade que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 a maior produtora de mandioca de Minas Gerais, passou a ser a principal fornecedora de polvilho em todo o mundo, tornando-se a Capital Nacional do Polvilho.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><span id=\"Turismo\" class=\"mw-headline\">Turismo<\/span><\/h6>\n<p>A cidade desde\u00a02002\u00a0integra o circuito tur\u00edstico\u00a0Serras Verdes do Sul de Minas. A cidade tem um forte potencial, mas recebe pouco incentivo nessa \u00e1rea. O munic\u00edpio recebe um n\u00famero significativo de visitantes em \u00e9pocas isoladas durante o ano.<\/p>\n<p>Os principais pontos tur\u00edsticos do munic\u00edpio Bexiga;<\/li>\n<li>Serra Grande;<\/li>\n<li>Morro do Quilombo (Serra Careca);<\/li>\n<li>Morro do Sert\u00e3ozinho;<\/li>\n<li>F\u00e1bricas de Polvilho;<\/li>\n<li>Museu Hist\u00f3rico, Arqueol\u00f3gico, Cultural e ambiental;<\/li>\n<li>S\u00edtio Arqueol\u00f3gico Pr\u00e9-Hist\u00f3rico do D\u00f3rg\u00e3o;<\/li>\n<li>S\u00edtio arqueol\u00f3gico Engenho dos
